Jasper Community Foundation Supports HIRTA Vehicle Replacement

HIRTA is grateful to the Jasper Community Foundation for awarding a grant to help provide the local matching funds needed to replace an aging vehicle.

Keeping our vehicles reliable and efficient is an important part of providing transportation to the communities we serve. Replacing older vehicles helps improve fuel efficiency, reduce maintenance expenses, and lower overall operating costs. These savings allow HIRTA to put more resources toward daily operations and continue meeting the transportation needs of riders across our seven-county service area.

Grants like this help HIRTA maintain its fleet and make the most of available resources as we work to provide dependable transportation for anyone who needs a ride.

Thank you to the Jasper Community Foundation for investing in public transportation and supporting HIRTA’s mission to connect people with the places they need to go.
